Peter J. Raimondi, JD — President & CEOPrior to establishing Banyan Partners in 2006, Peter was Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of The Colony Group, LLC, which he founded in 1986. This Boston-based Registered Investment Advisor provided a wide range of investment and wealth management services to over 600 high net worth clients. Peter was additionally responsible for developing the firm’s presence throughout Florida since 1991. Peter has over 30 years of investment and wealth management experience. He is active in a number of professional and educational organizations, including his membership on the Board and the Finance Committee of the Alexander Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation in West Palm Beach, Florida and the Dean’s Advisory Board at Boston University’s Metropolitan College. Peter received his undergraduate degree from Boston University and his JD from Boston University School of Law, where he served as the Managing Editor of The Probate Law Journal. Blackmon CFA — Chief Investment Officer, PrincipalMichael is a Principal of Banyan Partners and serves as the firm’s Chief Investment Officer in the firm’s Florida office. Prior to joining Banyan, Michael was the Director of Research at Cypress Capital Group in Palm Beach, Florida where he also served as a Portfolio Manager for selected high net worth individuals, charitable organizations, and insurance companies. Michael has over thirty years of professional investment experience, is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the South Florida Analysts Society. After beginning his career with Merrill Lynch, Michael has held a number of senior investment positions with Capitoline Investment Advisors, Barnett Bank, and Investment Management International. In 1990, Mr. Blackmon founded Blackmon and Huff Capital Management, an advisory firm serving hospitals, labor unions, local governments, retirement plans, and high net worth individuals. Blackmon and Huff was sold in 1996. Michael also serves on the Board of the Hanley Foundation Investment Committee. Following his education at The Baylor School in Chattanooga, he earned his B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill). Michael G. Tylander is a Principal with Banyan Partners and is the firm’s Chief Operating Officer in the Florida office. Prior to joining Banyan Partners Mr. Tylander was a Vice President with Fidelity Federal Bank and Trust responsible for business development and oversight of selected high net worth clients. In addition to Mr. Tylander’s role as COO, he is also responsible for the development of strategic growth and business opportunities throughout the South Florida investment community. He is the 4th generation of his family to specialize in the financial services industry in Florida, since the foundation of both Harbor Federal Bank and Fidelity Federal Bank and Trust. Prior to joining Banyan, David was the Founder and CEO of Oaktree Asset Management in New York City. David has more than 28 years of experience successfully managing investment portfolios for clients throughout the world, as a trustee for various trusts and as president of Laidlaw Holdings Asset Management in New York City. Previously, he was a partner at Lord, Day & Lord in NYC, and has been a practicing attorney for over 25 years. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Jerusalem Foundation of New York and the Barge Music, New York and he has taught "Portfolio Management" at the New York Institute of Finance. David received a B.A. from the College of William & Mary and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was a member of the Editorial Board of the Virginia Law Review. Prior to joining Banyan Partners, Kevin was the Regional Consultant in the Naples office of Fidelity Investments. He joins Banyan with over twenty years of wealth management experience. Kevin is former President of The Society of Financial Service Professionals, SW Florida chapter, as well as former President of the International Association of Financial Planners, SW Florida chapter. He has earned the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Charted Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) from the American College. Kevin received his B.S. and M.B.A. from the New York Institute of Technology and currently serves as President of the Cancer Alliance of Naples. Prior to joining the firm, John was a Director of Wealth Management at Calamos Investments. He has 20 years of experience as an investment and wealth management professional. John’s previous experience includes serving as a Vice President / Senior Account Executive with Fidelity Investments in Naples. During his 14 years at Fidelity, he assisted clients with a minimum of $3 million at the firm, totaling just under $1.5 billion in assets. He also served as Senior Vice President of Private Capital Management (PCM), a $30 billion asset manager based in Naples. At PCM, John worked extensively with family offices, endowments, institutional investors and individuals. John received his B.S. in Finance from Brigham Young University and serves in several local community based youth programs. Prior to joining Banyan Partners he spent over 16 years at Fidelity Investments. While at Fidelity, he was the Vice President and Branch Manager for the Naples, FL Investor Center, where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of that office, with over $6.7 billion assets under management and 22,000 clients. He also served as the Branch Manager for the Fidelity Investments branches in St. Louis, Pittsburgh, and Memphis. He has over 20 years of experience as an investment and wealth management professional, beginning his career as an Account Executive with Dean Witter Reynolds in Nashville, TN. Hap was a Financial Planning Consultant for Fidelity’s Memphis Investor Center, helping develop appropriate asset allocation and investment strategies for Fidelity’s high net worth client segment. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Mississippi State University in 1988. Mr. Wade is active in several civic service organizations, including the Naples Zoo, Habitat for Humanity, and is a past President of the Kiwanis Club. Prior to joining the firm, David served as a Director with MAI Wealth Advisors. He has over 13 years of professional experience in the investment and wealth management industry. David’s previous experience includes serving as a Director and Senior Investment Counselor at The Colony Group, a registered investment advisor in Boston, Massachusetts. During his tenure there, he worked closely with the founder and CEO, Peter J. Raimondi, advising a very select group of high net worth individuals and Senior Corporate Executives in the development, implementation, and execution of customized wealth management solutions. David began his career as a Financial Consultant at Merrill Lynch and brings extensive experience in diversification strategies, portfolio development, estate planning, and income tax preparation and planning. David earned his Master of Science in Financial and Tax Planning from San Diego State University and Bachelors of Science from Salem State College. Prior to joining Banyan Partners he spent over 16 years at Fidelity Investments. While at Fidelity, Joe served as Vice President/Senior Account Executive for Fidelity’s Private Access service where he assisted clients with all aspects of wealth management. Joe has over 20 years of experience in helping clients successfully manage their wealth.
Mr. Redgate graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Finance in 1981. He earned the CFP designation in 1996. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1974 to 1977 and he is an active Rotarian.

Prior to joining Banyan, Robert was the Chief Investment Officer of Oaktree Asset Management in New York City. Robert began his investment career in 1987 with Laidlaw, Adams & Peck in New York as an assistant portfolio manager. He served as a senior analyst with the Borders Group, Inc., and later returned to Laidlaw as Vice President of Asset Management. Prior to joining Oaktree in 1999, Robert was a Vice President and trader with Matrix Capital Group. Mr. Pavlik is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts, the CFA Institute and the Professional Risk Manager Industry Association. He is regular guest on CNBC television, Bloomberg Radio, WBBM Radio in Chicago along with several international television stations. He is regularly quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Dow Jones Market Watch, The Street.com and other leading financial publications. Prior to joining Banyan, Dan was a Senior Director of Investments at Oppenheimer. Dan has fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry, including financial analysis, institutional mutual fund management, and portfolio management for high net worth individuals. Dan’s previous experience includes a position as Vice President / Senior Portfolio Manager in U.S. Trust’s Palm Beach office. As a portfolio manager, he managed investment portfolios for individuals, families, trusts, and endowments totaling just under $1 Billion in assets. Prior to his tenure at U.S. Trust, Dan was a Vice President and Fund Manager for a regional bank where he managed one of the bank’s proprietary mutual funds. At that time, he was also responsible for managing separate accounts for high net worth individuals. Dan began his career in the investment management industry as an analyst. Dan is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute. He is also a past president of the Jacksonville Financial Analysis Society, where he served on the board for four years. Prior to joining the firm, Vaughn was the Managing Director and a Portfolio Manager of Oaktree Asset Management in New York City. In addition to managing client portfolios, Vaughn currently oversees family office and financial consulting services for selected clients of Banyan. Prior to joining Oaktree’s predecessor firm, Fiduciary Counsel in 1989, Vaughn was a manager of consulting at the accounting firm of Arthur Young & Co. He has lectured at the New York University Graduate school of Business Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and has spoken and written extensively on financial planning and investments. Vaughn is currently on the Board of Directors of the Bowery Mission in NYC. Vaughn completed graduate studies at Villanova University, after receiving his Bachelor’s there in 1975. Vaughn H. Prior to joining the firm, Rita was a Portfolio Manager at Oaktree Asset Management in Boca Raton, Florida until moving to Wisconsin. Rita has held the Certified Financial Planner designation since 1989. She began with Oaktree Asset Management, LLC and its predecessors in 1987 and has been a member of the Financial Planning Association since 1983. Rita is responsible for the firm’s no-load mutual fund and exchange-traded funds portfolios. Her expertise in this area provides her the platform to select from all asset classes and investment styles to structure investment portfolios that manage the unique risk tolerance and financial goals of selected firm clients. Rita is a Wisconsin native and resides in New Glarus, Wisconsin where she is a member of the Town Parks Commission and the Friends of New Glarus Woods State Park.
