John C. Smith

John C. Smith has more than 20-years experience as an investment and wealth management professional. Prior to Banyan, John was the Director of Wealth Management at Calamos Investments.

John has also served as a Vice President/Senior Account Executive with Fidelity Investments, where he assisted clients with a minimum of $3 million at the firm, totaling just under $1.5 billion in assets. John is also a former Senior Vice President of Private Capital Management (PCM), a value equity manager that stems from the Collier Family Office, where he worked extensively with families, related endowments and individuals.

John is a graduate of Brigham Young University and currently serves in several community-based youth programs.
