Founder and CEO

Peter J. Raimondi, JD, founded Banyan Partners in 2006 on more than three decades of wealth management and investment advisory expertise. Prior to Banyan, Peter was the founder, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of The Colony Group, a Boston-based Registered Investment Adviser that grew to serve more than 600 high net worth clients during his tenure.

Alongside his leadership role at Banyan, Peter has been active in a number of professional and educational organizations, including membership on the Board and Finance Committee of the Alexander Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation in West Palm Beach, Florida and the Dean’s Advisory Board at Boston University’s Metropolitan College.

Peter earned a bachelor’s degree and JD from Boston University, where he served as Managing Editor of The Probate Law Journal. He is also admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and before the United States Tax Court.
