Steven P. Chapman

Director of Fixed Income

Steven P. Chapman has successfully managed assets and developed strategies for individual and institutional investors over the past 37 years. Steven is also the former Vice President and Portfolio Manager of a Florida-based investment adviser acquired by Banyan, where he managed a number of mutual fund-based strategies, working with institutional and individual investors.

Over the past three decades, Steven has traded billions of dollars in securities, establishing and building institutional, fixed-income sales and trading departments for some of the most recognized and respected firms in the industry, including: Thomson McKinnon, Blyth Eastman Dillon, Lehman Brothers and William Blair & Company.

Steven is also a member of the Rydex/SGI Advisory Board, which helps to support and educate individual investors, institutions and Registered Investment Advisers in growth and risk mitigation products, strategies and best practices. A Guggenheim Partners company, Rydex/SGI is an industry-leading asset management firm with approximately $27 billion in assets under management that offers leveraged and inverse mutual funds, ETF’s, and alternate investment strategies to individuals, institutions, and investment advisors nationwide.

Steven earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University.
